214. WOW!  this  really is an amazing antique silver trophy cup and cover !  Hallmarked up under the base for Sheffield 1840 , it has the marks of the renowned silversmiths Henry Wilkinson & Company. The overall height is 17" , 14.5" without the plinth, base 6.25" foot to foot, cup top 7", handle width 13". The weight of silver is 2005 grams, 64.46 troy ounces. The custom made plinth has a raised circumference , within which the three feet nestle. Extraordinary decoration, floral , foliar motifs abound . The handles ! what a delight ! Vacant cartouche.
