217 . What a superb example of the gentle art of silver design and craftsmanship ! This antique English silver trophy cup is hallmarked for London 1891, the makers marks those of the prestigious Mappin & Webb.  The overall height is 9.4" , the diameters , base 3.5" , cup top 7.2", and the handle width is 12". The weight is 1014 grams, 32.60 troy ounces.  The cup has a wide open bowl with lovely repousse decoration, two vacant cartouches and an imposing pair of flat topped handles . The whole is beautifully polished ready for display. Not inscribed , so ready for your dedication. Excellent condition.
