217 Some things in life one cannot resist owning ! This superb antique English silver cream / milk jug is hallmarked for London 1847 , the maker's mark of Joseph Angell (No. 2). His father was , of course , No 1 ! The hallmarks are up under the base, and so are in perfect condition still.Handle height 5.1", spout height 4.7", across feet 5". Weight 353 grams , 11.35 troy ounces. Just look at all the images of the excellent design features , both from the silversmith and also from the engraver. The patination is untouched , not ruined by modern cleaning ! Enjoy !
