232 .What a magnificent antique English silver trophy cup and cover !  Hallmarked for London 1873 ,the maker Henry William Curry . The overall height is 15.3" , diameters, base , 4.9", cup top , 6.2" , handle width 10.5". The weight is 1285 grams, 41.31 troy ounces . The design ! the workmanship ! incredible ! Repousse swags, garlands , ribbons , and running acanthus band, and those handles ! Both have caryatid leaf  cappings rather than the usual  stylised leaf cappings. Absolutely wonderful. The whole thing is just a credit to the team that designed and crafted it . Not inscribed, lovely condition. Could be yours !
