Superb art deco silver trophy cup and cover hallmarked for Sheffield 1938 with the makers marks of the renowned Walker and Hall. Sitting on its original black stained wood plinth, the overall height is 14.75 inches. Without the plinth , the height is 12.5 inches. The silver weight is 653 grams, 21.00 troy ounces. The plinth has a single vacant shield ready for your inscription. There are no inscriptions to cup or cover. Atop the cover is depiction of winged Victory , a long trumpet held to her lips. A most impressive piece of art deco silver, in excellent condition.
